Arrival and departure times
Bedrooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and until 11am on the day of departure. Bedrooms may be available for late departure subject to availability and at a charge of £10 per hour.
Deposit and guaranteeing your reservation
To guarantee your reservation or alternatively you can confirm your booking with the following credit cards – Visa, MasterCard, or Switch/Maestro. Full payment for the accommodation is payable on arrival at the hotel.
Residential Packages
A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay is required to guarantee your reservation, along with a credit or debit card number. The final balance is due approximately 5 weeks before the arrival date. ALL PACKAGE PAYMENTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
Provisional reservations
A reservation may be provisionally held for a maximum of 72 hours, after which time we will cancel the reservation automatically if you have not contacted us to confirm.
Cancellations
If you find it necessary to cancel your booking for any reason please contact a member of the reservations team. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Advised before 3pm the day prior to arrival: no charge
- Advised after 3pm the day prior to arrival: one night’s stay will be charged
- Non-arrivals: guests who do not advise us of their wish to cancel and then fail to arrive, will be charged the entire cost of the stay.
We reserve the right for this charge to be taken from the card provided as a guarantee at the time of booking.
For residential packages which have been fully paid in advance this payment is non refundable and the above cancellation policy does not apply. We strongly recommend holiday insurance is taken out to avoid loss of money in the event of a cancellation following the full payment.
Payment
Payment for the rooms is due to be paid in full on arrival.
The following methods of payments are accepted: Visa, MasterCard and Switch/Maestro.
The Hotel reserves the right to Pre-Authorise Credit Cards on arrival for any extras charged to rooms during your stay.
Damage Liability and Smoking Policy
If a guest room is found to be damaged in any way, the hotel reserves the right to make a Fixed Penalty Charge of £200 to cover the cost of ‘making good’ and if necessary of letting the room whilst the damage is rectified. In accordance with UK law, the hotel does not permit smoking in guest rooms, on balconies or anywhere inside the hotel. Where smoking has clearly taken place, we will levy an automatic cleaning charge of £200 to your room account.
Entertainment
Please note the Cooden Beach Hotel is a very popular venue for weddings and parties; therefore we advise that there may be some noise due to live music or discos during these events. All music finishes at midnight. Please ask for details from a member of the reservations team.
The Restaurant
The Dress Code in the Restaurant is Smart Casual.
Vouchers
For vouchers with dinner included this is only included for the first night of the stay. Vouchers are non-refundable or transferable and must be redeemed within 12 months of the date shown. No change will be given when using a voucher to settle your account. Photocopies will not be accepted. Please make a reservation for afternoon tea, restaurant and accommodation vouchers. Vouchers must be presented on arrival. Accommodation vouchers cannot be used as part or full payment for a residential package (e.g. Christmas and New Year). A voucher is only valid if a voucher ID number is included. This number is issued at the time of purchase. Vouchers cannot be used to purchase other vouchers.
